Website information
Cookie Policy.
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies in relation to the Limerick FC microsite and how you can manage them.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. About cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your computer, phone or other device. They can support functions such as keeping an authorised user signed in or remembering a preference.
Session cookies generally last for a browsing session. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, can also store information on your device.
2. This website
The Limerick FC microsite is an informational website operated by Treaty FC. It does not provide public user accounts, newsletter registration, contact forms or an on-site shop or ticket checkout.
The current setup uses Google Site Kit with Search Console. Google Analytics is not enabled, and we do not use advertising tracking as part of this setup.
Technical server logs are separate from cookies. Information about the handling of technical data and personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
3. Necessary cookies
The website runs on WordPress. When authorised staff access the login or administration area, WordPress may use cookies to check browser cookie support, authenticate the user and maintain their login session.
These administration functions are separate from ordinary browsing of the public microsite. The duration of login cookies can depend on whether the user chooses to remain signed in and on the website’s configuration.
Cookies strictly necessary to provide a service you request are treated differently from optional analytics or advertising cookies. Any optional technology requiring consent must remain inactive until that consent has been given.
4. Google Search Console
We use Google Site Kit to view Search Console reports in the website administration area. These reports help us understand the website’s visibility in Google Search, including impressions, clicks and indexing issues.
Search Console is separate from Google Analytics. Connecting Search Console does not itself install a Google Analytics visitor-tracking tag or require analytics cookies on visitors’ devices.
Google’s handling of information when you use its own services is explained in Google’s Privacy Policy .
5. External services
The microsite contains links to other websites, including club news, merchandise, ticketing and social media services.
An ordinary link does not itself embed the linked service in this website. Once you follow a link, the destination website may use its own cookies and tracking technologies. Please review that website’s privacy and cookie information.
If embedded video, maps or other third-party content is added to this microsite in future, we will review its use of cookies and similar technologies, update this policy and request consent where required.
6. Managing cookies
You can inspect, block or delete cookies using your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Depending on your browser, you can:
- View cookies and other data stored by a website.
- Delete cookies for an individual website.
- Block third-party cookies.
- Clear stored website data.
- Set preferences for future cookie storage.
Blocking necessary cookies may prevent functions such as authorised administrator login from working correctly.
Browser settings apply to the browser and device you are using. You may need to adjust them separately on other devices or browsers.
If optional cookies are introduced, you will be provided with a way to give, refuse and withdraw consent for those cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the website’s use of cookies or similar technologies changes. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date.
